The UK Health and Safety Executive has accredited the EFR Primary and Secondary Care programme for meeting the requirements of the Appointed Person in a workplace.                  

The Royal Yachting Association accepts the EFR Primary and Secondary Care programme as equivalent to their own first aid course.

Skills Active (the Sector Skills Council for Active Leisure and Learning in the UK, which oversees education and training in the sectors of sport, fitness, outdoors and childrens' play) accepts Primary and Secondary Care as a qualification in CPR and First Aid for people applying to be listed on the Register of Exercise Professionals in the UK.
